Rag & Bone has tapped Stefanie Strack as chief executive officer, effective Sept. 10. At that time, she will also be named to the company’s board. Marcus Wainwright, the current ceo, will assume the new title of founder and chief brand officer.

Strack comes from Nike Inc., where she spent 14 years in various operational and business roles. She has also been a member of Nike’s corporate leadership team. Most recently she was vice president, general manager of Nike Express Lane, leading a global effort to meet evolving consumer needs with improved speed-to-market. The effort led to the development of a division within Nike that sought to transform key direct-to-consumer functions: consumer sensing, data and analytics, design, supply chain and manufacturing. In Nike’s earnings for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2018, Express Lane was the fastest-growing product engine, serving as a key focus point of the brand’s speed initiative.
Earlier, she served as general manager of Nike Skateboarding. In that role, she tapped into a Millennial market while bringing digital innovations to the direct and wholesale marketplace.
